Managing proposals 🧭

This page covers how proposals move through their lifecycle in Amplifi-Qx Hub.

Proposal lifecycle

A proposal typically moves through:

  1. Draft (editable in the Hub)
  2. Proposal site generated (customer-ready website)
  3. Sent (visible in the customer portal)
  4. Accepted (customer accepted via the proposal site)

Editing a proposal

  • Draft proposals can be edited.
  • If a proposal has been marked as Sent, you generally need to rebuild the site to make changes.
important

A generated proposal site is a snapshot. Changes in the Hub (or Directus content) won’t affect an already-generated site. To update what the customer sees, rebuild and regenerate the site.

Generating, viewing and sending

  • Generate the proposal site when the draft is ready.
  • Test it using proposals@amplifi-qx.com.
  • When you’re happy, click Mark as Sent.

See:

Rebuilding a proposal site

Use Rebuild Site when you need to update a proposal that has already been generated/sent.

Rebuilding:

  • removes the current site from Netlify
  • makes the proposal URL temporarily inaccessible
  • returns the proposal to Draft so you can edit it
warning

This cannot be undone.

Analytics

Proposal analytics are based on the email address used to access the proposal site.

You can see:

  • who viewed the proposal
  • what they engaged with (sections, links, downloads, video)
  • scroll depth and time spent
tip

Avoid testing using the customer’s email domain, as it will register as a customer view.
