Introduction​

The Stock Management system in Amplifi-Qx provides comprehensive inventory control for all installation materials and equipment. This robust system helps maintain optimal stock levels while ensuring accurate tracking of all items used in customer installations.

The Stock Dashboard 📊​

The Stock Dashboard provides real-time visibility of your inventory status through key metrics:

Value Metrics 💰​

  • Booster Cost: Total cost value of signal booster inventory
  • Booster Value: Total sales value of signal booster inventory
  • Non-Booster Stock Cost: Total cost value of other inventory items
  • Non-Booster Stock Value: Total sales value of other inventory items
  • Stock Shortfall: The amount needed to bring stock levels to the desired level

Inventory Counts 🔢​

  • Booster Count: Total number of signal boosters in stock
  • Non-Booster Stock Count: Total quantity of other inventory items
  • Boosters On Order: Number of boosters currently on purchase orders

Stock Alerts 🚨​

The system actively monitors stock levels and provides three key alert categories:

  1. Van Stock Alerts: Items requiring replenishment in installation vehicles
  2. Low Stock Items: Products that have fallen below their minimum stock level
  3. Out of Stock: Items with zero current stock that need reordering

Stock List Management 📋​

Viewing Stock Items​

Access the complete inventory through the Stock List page, which displays:

  • Item name and image
  • Current stock quantity
  • Van stock levels
  • Cost and sell prices
  • SKU and shelf reference
  • Section/category

Stock Item Details​

Each item in your inventory includes:

Core Information​

  • SKU: Unique identifier
  • Shelf Reference: Physical storage location
  • Cost Price: Purchase price excluding VAT
  • Sell Price: Standard billing rate
  • Current Stock: Available quantity
  • Van Stock: Quantity in installation vehicles

Stock Control Parameters​

  • Minimum Stock Level: Trigger point for low stock alerts
  • Minimum Van Stock Level: Required quantity in vehicles
  • Re-order Level: Ideal minimum quantity for reordering
  • Usual Supplier: Primary vendor for the item

Stock Issues Tracking​

The system maintains three key views for stock management:

  1. Out of Stock Items: Complete list of items requiring immediate reorder
  2. Low Stock Items: Products approaching minimum levels
  3. Van Stock Alerts: Items needed for vehicle replenishment

Stock Movement Recording​

Every stock movement is tracked with:

  • Date and time of transaction
  • User making the change
  • Original quantity
  • Quantity change
  • New quantity
  • Associated job reference
  • Additional notes or comments

Purchase Order Integration​

Stock levels are automatically updated through the PO system:

  1. Purchase Orders are raised for required items
  2. Upon delivery, marking the PO as received automatically:
  • Updates stock levels
  • Records the transaction
  • Updates financial values
  • Adjusts stock alerts
